Uniform

We are rightly proud of our school and believe that wearing our school uniform helps to create a strong sense of belonging, pride and community. Our uniform is designed to be practical, comfortable and smart, while supporting children to feel part of the Holy Trinity community.

Uniform choices

We offer flexibility within our uniform, allowing children to choose between the appropriate summer and winter uniform at different points throughout the year:

  • During the first half of the Autumn Term, children may wear either the summer or winter uniform.
  • Winter uniform should be worn from the October half term until Easter.
  • During the Summer Term, summer uniform is optional, allowing families to choose which appropriate uniform is most comfortable for their child.

Parents and carers have the right to purchase branded or non-branded uniform items, provided that they meet the requirements and specifications set out in our uniform guidance. The school tie is the exception and must be the official Holy Trinity school tie.

Fleeces and tracksuits are optional items and are available to order at various points throughout the academic year. Please note that the school fleece does not replace the school jumper and is intended for outdoor use only.

Appearance and jewellery

To maintain a smart, safe and consistent appearance:

  • Hair accessories should be plain and in school colours: black, grey, green or white.
  • Jewellery is not permitted, with the exception of wrist watches and MedicAlert tags.
  • Earrings are not permitted in school. We would therefore ask parents and carers to arrange any ear piercing during the summer holidays, so that earrings can be removed when required for school.

We recognise that, for some children, the wearing of particular items of jewellery may form part of their religious or faith practice. Requests for an exception to the school's jewellery expectations on faith grounds should be made in writing to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). Each request will be considered sensitively and on an individual basis, taking into account the nature of the request, the school's uniform expectations and any relevant health and safety considerations.

We ask all families to support our uniform expectations so that children can take pride in their appearance and feel a strong sense of identity and belonging within the Holy Trinity community.

For further information, please see our Welcome Pack, which contains more detailed information about our school uniform.
